Thoughts and Inkblots

I write poetry in the hopes that somewhere in this vast, noisy existence, someone exists who can understand me.
It maybe soon, or years after I'm gone-
But maybe they'll stumble upon my words and feel less alone.

another dreamland shattered
another night battered
the lovers of the dark forced into the light
to live a life they'd have chosen never
