Indian Medical Association Motihari Chapter Hosts 81st Bihar IMA Conference “BIMACON-2026” at Amar Resort The 81st Conference of Bihar IMA, “BIMACON-2026,” organized by the Motihari unit of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), was inaugurated at Amar Resort on Sunday. The prestigious event brought together medical professionals from across the state and country for scientific discussions and knowledge exchange. The conference was inaugurated by Member of Parliament and former Union Minister Radha Mohan Singh, along with Vice-Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Central University Prof. Sanjay Srivastava, Bihar IMA President Dr. Ashutosh Sharan, IMA Director Dr. Anil Kumar Pachnekar, former IMA Bihar President Dr. Ashok Kumar Yadav, IMA Bihar Secretary Dr. Santosh Kumar Singh, IMA Motihari President Dr. T.P. Singh, former National Vice President IMA Delhi Dr. D.D. Chaudhary, and IMA Delhi Vice President Dr. Dhanwantari Tiwari, who jointly lit the ceremonial lamp. Addressing the gathering, MP Radha Mohan Singh welcomed doctors from across the country and extended his best wishes for the scientific sessions, emphasizing that such conferences promote meaningful exchange of knowledge. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Srivastava congratulated participants for presenting research papers, particularly on Artificial Intelligence and cancer studies. Organizing Chairman Dr. Ashutosh Sharan highlighted that HPV-related cancers can be prevented through awareness and timely intervention. Several eminent doctors, including Dr. Jitendra Gupta, Dr. D. Nath, Dr. Ajay Kumar, Dr. Santosh Kumar Singh, Dr. C.B. Singh, Dr. Prabhat Prakash, and Dr. Sanjay Kumar, participated in the event, with a notable presence of PG students and young doctors.
