Here’s how to make your sleeping bag last for years:

1️⃣ Dry it daily
Moisture builds up overnight from breath and body heat.
Air it out every morning—even if it feels dry.

2️⃣ Never store it compressed
Compression kills loft.
Store loose at home, compress only while travelling.

3️⃣ Wash less than you think
Spot clean when possible.
Wash only when loft drops or smell builds.
Always use down-specific detergent.

4️⃣ Dry it slow, dry it fully
Low heat. Patience. Tennis balls help restore loft.
Damp down = no insulation.

5️⃣ Protect it from moisture
Use a sleeping pad.
Avoid cooking or breathing deep inside the bag in humid conditions.
