The PhD Chronicle proudly features Dr. Paresh Das, who has been awarded the PhD degree for his scholarly contribution to Assamese literary studies through an analytical study of the dramas of Chandradhar Chamuah.

Dr. Paresh Das was awarded his PhD in Assamese from Kumar Bhaskar Varma Sanskrit and Ancient Studies University for his doctoral thesis titled "Chandradhar Chamuar Natak: Ek Bishleshanatmak Adhyayan" (An Analytical Study of the Dramas of Chandradhar Chamuah). The research was carried out under the supervision of Dr. Dipshikha Gogoi, Assistant Professor, Department of Assamese, Kumar Bhaskar Varma Sanskrit and Ancient Studies University.

Dr. Das is the son of Mr. Dilip Das and Mrs. Sarujan Das of No. 1 Kelkeli (Puthimari), Dhakuakhana, Assam. He is married to Mrs. Deshdimona Das and is the proud father of Navakalpita Das.

Academic Achievement
