Here is an announcement!
Kiron Foundation is coming to Jaipur Jawahar Kala Kendra, on the occasion of National Handloom Week organised by Weaver’s Service Center, Jaipur.
Two of the master artisans from the Mishing community, Majuli, Assam and two from the Chakhesang community, Phek district, Nagaland will be present and sharing their valuable knowledge on Sericulture, Handloom, Natural dye and bamboo craft and shall give live demonstrations.
Interested members may visit us during 3rd to 7th August at the venue. And we shall share the live telecasting link for those who are not in Jaipur or not able to make it to the venue.

This scarf is a combination of hand spun desi cotton (Indian cotton) hand spun nettle, hand spun mugasilk and hand spun Erisilk yarns. Cotton yarns are dyed in indigo and the bright motifs are weaved by Erisilk yarns dyed in turmeric and mugasilk. Those stripes are weaved by nettle and lac-dyed Erisilk yarn.
