Aardvark:- This strange looking animal gets its name from a South African word which means "earth pig". With a similar body structure, aardvark looks like a pig but they share a common ancestor with the elephants and moles. They are distributed throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. They are nocturnal with poor eyesight making them vulnerable to the predators.
During our night trekking for Black-footed cats, we often encounter them and the most familiar signs that they left for us are the holes on the ground, we have to be very cautious while driving inside the velt. We have to continuously save ourselves from the holes they made.

काले पैरों वाली बिल्लियों के पैर और पैड काले होते हैं जैसा कि उनके नाम से पता चलता है। ये बिल्लियाँ अपने-अपने आवास में अच्छी तरह से छलावरण करती हैं और अपने शिकार पर झपटने का कोई मौका नहीं छोड़ती हैं। वे बेहद धैर्यवान हैं और प्रयास करने से पहले 45 मिनट तक प्रतीक्षा कर सकते हैं, और वे मुश्किल से चूकते हैं।

The Black paws of the bush - The feet and pads of the Black-footed Cats are black as their name suggests. These Cats are well camouflage in their respective habitat and do not leave a chance to pounce on their prey. They are extremely patience and can wait for up-to 45 minutes before attempting, and they barely miss.
