Admissions Open for the 2nd Batch of IIM Lucknow’s blended MBA (bMBA) Programme 2026–28.

Designed for working professionals, the two-year programme combines the flexibility of live online learning with immersive on-campus modules, enabling participants to pursue a rigorous management education while continuing their professional careers.

Built on the foundation of IIM Lucknow’s flagship MBA curriculum, the programme offers a carefully curated blend of core and elective courses, collaborative peer learning, faculty interactions, and a Capstone Project focused on real-world business application.

Congratulations to Harsh*t Agarwal (ABM, 27) and Dr. Chetan Duggirala (PGP, 27), students of Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, on emerging as National Winners of the Paytm Project AI Case Competition in the Business Track.

Their AI-first solution addressed key challenges faced by Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) in India through innovations in inventory tracking, credit tracking, and AI-based loan underwriting. Backed by extensive field research and data-driven ex*****on, their work was recognised for its innovation and real-world impact.

The team also received prizes worth ₹5 Lakhs along with a PPI/PPO opportunity with Paytm.

Congratulations to Pratik Biswas, Research Scholar, IIM Lucknow, and Prof. Chandan Sharma, Professor, Economics and Business Environment, IIM Lucknow, on their publication in the Journal of Commodity Markets (ABDC-A, JCR Impact Factor 4.5).

Their research, “Quantifying Electricity Market Stress: Constructing and Validating the Stress Index with Evidence from India,” introduces the Electricity Market Stress Index (EMSI), developed using high-frequency data to capture volatility, supply–demand imbalances, and market disruptions. The study highlights EMSI’s strong predictive power, its impact on key indices such as Nifty Energy and Nifty Metal, and its ability to capture global shocks including COVID-19 and the Russia–Ukraine war.

The findings offer valuable insights for policymakers, investors, and market participants, strengthening data-driven decision-making in the evolving energy market landscape.

Congratulations to Siddartha Kathi, Research Scholar, Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, and Prof. Yash Daultani, Professor, Operations and Supply Chain Management, IIM Lucknow, on receiving the Best Paper Award at the Management Doctoral Colloquium – Shodh Samagam 3, held on 18–19 April 2026 at IIM Visakhapatnam.

Their paper, “Topology Meets Demand: Machine Learning-Enhanced Optimization Framework for Airport and Route Selection for Regional Connectivity,” presents a novel approach integrating machine learning with optimization to address challenges in regional connectivity and infrastructure planning.
