It is named after Rishi Kaundilya, who had established his Ashram in Lucknow near the river bank in early times. This beautiful Ghat was rebuilt in 1990. A number of people enjoy swimming here and particularly in Kartik Purnima devotees come here and take a holy dip in river Gomti. Peaceful environment of the River bank and beauty of Kudia Ghat attract many piligrims and travellers who visit Lucknow.
Boating is also one of the attractions here.
