On Saturday 07/07/2018 team NLRD had an opportunity to talk with local officials near KUKRAIL in which even the official is unaware of the fact that whether Kukrail is a river or a sewage. Evidences are there in which Kukrail has been identified as a River. Despite the fact that Kukrail receives water from river Indira and is also a tributary to River Gomti, Kukrail is being identified as a Sewage. During the interview one of the officials who did not choose to face the camera had told the team that once the project of Kukrail was given to the Forest Officers as a river, but indeed the status of Kukrail remains the mystery.
