Cypress
Cupressus sempervirens even know as the Mediterranean cypress or as the Italian cypress,Tuscan cypress, Persian cypress & even pencil pine is native to the eastern Mediterranean region, from southern and coastal Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, northern Egypt, western Syria, Lebanon, Malta, Italy, Palestine, Israel, western Jordan, South Caucasus, and also a disjunct population in Iran. Mediterranean cypress has been widely cultivated as an ornamental tree. It is also known for its very durable, scented wood, used most famously for the doors of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican City, Rome. Cypress used to be used in distilleries as staves to hold mash ferments to make alcohol before the invention of stainless steel. In cosmetics it is used as astringent, firming, anti-seborrheic, anti-dandruff, anti-aging and as fragrance. In classical antiquity, the cypress was a symbol of mourning and in the modern era it remains the principal cemetery tree.

Carnation
Dianthus caryophyllus, commonly known as the carnation or clove pink, is a species native to the Mediterranean region but its exact range is unknown due to extensive cultivation for the last 2,000 years. Carnations were mentioned in Greek literature 2,000 years ago. The name "carnation" is believed to come from the Latin word corona-ae, meaning a "wreath, garland, chaplet, crown",[6] as it was one of the flowers used in Greek and Roman ceremonial crowns. Carnations come in a variety of colours & it’s meanings. While Light red carnations represent admiration, while dark red denote deep love and affection. White carnations represent pure love and good luck, while Purple carnations indicate capriciousness.

Bougainvillea
Bougainvillea is a genus of thorny ornamental vines, bushes, and trees belonging to the four o' clock family. It is native to Brazil, Peru, Argentina, Spain, Italy, India & most temperate parts of the world. The first European to describe these plants was Philibert Commerçon, a botanist accompanying French Navy admiral Louis Antoine de Bougainville. Bougainvillea are popular ornamental plants in most areas with warm climates.

Flame-of-the-forest
Butea monosperma commonly know as flame-of-the-forest, palash, and bastard teak is native to tropical and sub-tropical parts of the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia, ranging across Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and western Indonesia. Historically, Palash originated in Bihar and Jharkhand in the Dhak forests covering much of the Doaba area between the Ganges and the Yamuna. References to this tree are often found in Punjabi literature. The Punjabi poet Harinder Singh Mahboob employed its symbolism in his poems. This fiery tree, is even mentioned in Rudyard Kipling's short story Beyond the Pale & in The Jungle Book in the story Tiger! Tiger!. The first sloka of the Sukla Yajurveda speaks about the Palasa tree. This amazing tree is even used to produce timber, resin, fodder, medicine, and dye.
