Universal Children’s Day, 2020
November 20

Established in 1954, this day is celebrated Globally to promote children’s rights & promote togetherness and awareness among children the world over.
Investing in our future would really mean investing in our children and on this day, we train our focus onto the children in every corner of the Globe, and strive to improve the welfare of the children. As a part of the charter, it is emphasized that the child must be given the means required for its normal material & spiritual development. No child should remain hungry, the sick child must be attended to, the backward child must be helped, the orphan must be sheltered, and the delinquent child must be reclaimed. The child must be the first to receive aid in times of distress , protected against exploitation and put in a position to earn a livelihood. The children are our future and we have to ensure that we leave a stable, safe and sustainable planet for our children. It is a day upon which we seek to reaffirm our pledge to protect our children and honour them .
