In a triangle ABC, AY is the perpendicular dropped from A to the bisector of angle(B) and AX is the perpendicular dropped from A to the bisector of angle(C). If AB = 9 units, AC = 7 units, BC = 4 units, what is the length of XY?

Ten 11's and Ten 12's are written on a blackboard. In each alternating turn, a player erases any two numbers. If the two numbers erased are identical, they are replaced by a 12. If they are different, they are replaced by a 11. The first player wins if an 11 is left at the end, and the second player wins if a 12 is left. To win you have to:

(A) be the first player.
(B) be the second player.
(C) play strategically according to the given situation. Options (A) and (B) are irrelevant.
