Extremely delighted to start a full-time journey from today in the ever expansive world of Decentralized Science!

My laboratory or my own research had no medium of funding ever since I began my work from January 2016 and were all backed by occupational work payouts as well as my royalty savings from my GPU Computing book.

Fast-forward to late 2021, I realized that perhaps what most people call “mining rigs” could also serve as a platform for Research.

With my savings, I was then able to build such a platform that would finally make my laboratory truly independent and decentralized from institutional dependency. A single platform where I can carry out molecular and cellular dynamics for , as well as mine for !

Finally, my have liberated my Science🥲:

1. My GPUs fold & simulate for Bioinformatics.

2. After it's done, those GPUs mine for my laboratory funds without lying dormant.

3. Meanwhile, I spend this time in interpreting the results & concluding the work(1).

4. Cycle repeats.

This idea is like a "recursive cycle" for self-sustainability, because the same hardware that does science also funds it as well..thus a computing lab that literally uses Financial Computing to empower Scientific Computing. for !

But then, the question of “survival liquidity” arose. How would a solo researcher go about liquidating his crypto for daily bread in a country like , where will never become legal tender?
