" I made 'Hungry Autumn' in 74/75 in collaboration with dedicated friends like Bejoy Anand,Jagannath Guha,Sanat Dasgupta,Deepak Seth,Lallu Jaiswal and Aparna Sen.
The film was shot during the autumn of 1974 with a 16mm hand winding Paillard Bolex camera.
Are we heading for another famine-like condition in the near future?
Do we have to go out again to make another film named 'Hungry Summer'?
