When did you last feel REALLY happy? Happy as in long lasting happiness that lingered on and on? Gave you that carefree feel of floating on air?
Chances are that the answers will be difficult for most of us. Momentary “feel good” moments may be there, but a lasting “feel good” is elusive.
We take everything seriously. We lead and plan our lives by shouldering the weight of the world. We let everything be our “problem” to solve. We sacrifice our time and energy (precious resources) for someone else’s riches and leave little room to nourish our own needs. We remain wedded to yesterday’s past with regrets and wonder, constantly worrying and obsessing about what the future will hold. We torture ourselves when things don’t pan out just right.
In the complex transformation of growing up and turning adult we are manoeuvred through an invisible threshold society expects us all to pass. It means we have to live up to expectations of the external, constantly be in the motion to do the right things, to never fail, to always be responsible.
We forget what the grass under our feet feels like, what fun it is to play in the rain, how it feels to simply jump up and down when we do or solve or learn something new, how it is to be drowned in doing things of our own interests completely oblivious of what is happening out there in the world. We have traded freedom and fun in turning into conforming adults.
Why not try finding out the dormant child within? Laughing out loud real and true from the gut, hugging it out to reignite that magic of physical comfort, ask crazy questions and rekindle inquisitiveness, do a quick jog of glee, and, start dreaming those crazy childhood dreams, trying out to shape one or two of them.
You never know, your true calling may just be lying within those crazy dreams. Is there any bigger lasting happiness than following the true desire of the heart with purpose and fulfillment? Fearless as the child reaching out towards the unknown, reach out to find your dream happiness.

Over the last couple of days, I have had the opportunity to interact with a group of highly specialised, energetic young professionals engaged in creating and handling Social Media campaigns for corporates. Their approach to their respective fields of work within the larger bucket was appreciably professional.
Precise to the dot, exactly as every Social Media campaign is seen operating today. Exactly the way it is taught and practised.
And therein lay the handicap. The boundaries were deeply drawn - the proverbial "Lakshman Rekha"s etched. The web structure, the headings, the flow, the contents, all were to be "as per standard practice".
Who created the "standard"? What existed before the "standard" came into being? Who decided the boundaries? Why cannot the boundaries be challenged?
As we move deeper into technology dependent living at every step of our existence, we are being enslaved and chained more and more into smaller and smaller creative spaces. Independent thinking, challenging the boundaries, the "standards" are being driven out of our minds - human minds are being systematically killed off. MCQs run roughshod over free analytical mental processes.
Live by boundaries, by limiting beliefs, live in confinement, live with AI - human mind be damned. Are we hastening the death of the human faculties?
Let this be a call to all who believe in freedom of thought, of challenging boundaries, challenging limiting beliefs and creating a joyous, colourful life for themselves. Get your mind set free of etched beliefs, etched out "norms" of living and success parameters - join in for true transformational coaching that uncovers the human life of happiness, joy and boundless freedom that we are meant for.
Feel free to connect for transforming your life.

The hedonistic approach to life is popular right now. WIIIFM is our guiding “mantra”.
What is in it for me? I need to be passionate about my job, and if it doesn’t meet my expectations, then I’ll move on to something else. It is the same thinking about marriage and relationships that many people have these days.
Most of us have no idea what we want to do with our lives, and it’s a struggle almost every adult experiences on their way to maturity. We assume as we age, we’ll get the big picture of life and “abra-ca-dabra” -- all will be revealed. The reality is, age and wisdom don’t necessarily travel together. Mostly, age shows up all by itself.
I leave you with this trigger and shall be back soon with to continue from hereon.
Stay Safe.
