While cerebrating the 75th year of Indian Independence an out-and- out obligation as a citizens of India to recompense veneration to those great freedom fighters who forwent everything to protect and free our MotherIndia. In doing so an event of Martial Art Traing cm National Level tournament organized during 8th- 10th April at Gopali Ashram, Kharagpur, West Bengal by Swadhinota Udjapan Committee, Dakshin Banga along with Board of Control for Karate India to dedicate this time to great revolutionary Pulin Behari Das who by his own name equally known as father of modern Indian Martial Art. Participated by youths from Bengal, Assam, Maharashtra. Grandsons of Pulin Behari Das were part of the organising team. The eminent personalities who graced the occasion Senior Prof. Satyahari Dey a renowned face in the field of Biotechnology, Asst Prof. Koustav Roy. Both are from IIT Kharagpur. Sri Koustav Roy is also known as Power lifting captain of India and Commonwealth, Asiad Silver Medallist.
