Through our prevention-based Safe Village Programmes, stories, open conversations, and our research-informed comic books equip girls and boys with the awareness they need to stay safe and shape their own futures.

When children understand their rights, exploitation loses its power.

16 Days of Activism: A Milestone in our fight against s*x trafficking

This November marked a defining moment for My Choices Foundation.

We are honoured to announce our groundbreaking partnership with the Women Safety Wing Telangana State Police(WSW), Telangana State Police, strengthening our work with frontline Anti-Human Trafficking Units (AHTU), to prevent exploitation before it begins.

S*x trafficking is one of the most extreme and devastating forms of gender-based violence — stripping girls and women of safety, autonomy, and dignity. This partnership is a powerful recognition of the community-led Safe Village Program, delivered by our implementing partners with courage, persistence, and an unwavering belief in safer futures for all women and girls.

On 22 November, training for Telangana State Police field teams began.

In the words of our Program Director, Vivian A Isaac:

“This partnership marks a significant step forward in strengthening Telangana’s frontline response to human trafficking. Through this collaboration, the Telangana Police and My Choices Foundation are equipping field teams with the knowledge and tools needed to engage communities effectively.”

During these 16 Days of Activism, we celebrate a future where prevention is prioritised, partnerships are strengthened, and no girl is left behind.

Citizens can now report child marriage events and file complaints. Also, information about child marriage prohibition officers is easily available across the country.
