For our international friends, Onam is a festival celebrating the rice harvest of the Indian state of Kerala, where the Raksha Society's various divisions are located.

It's that time of year again!

How you can help:

Make a one-off donation, or a small regular donation every month, which will help us plan for the future and reduce our administrative costs. A gift of INR 5000, USD 100 or GBP 50, will sponsor a child for a year! If you think your company or office might like to make a donation, run a fundraising initiative or sponsor some aspect of our work, we can work with you to make the most of your ideas. Corporate sponsorships (INR 10,000 per child) are also welcome.

Are you a shopaholic?
We have an array of things to buy at our shop, including scented candles, aprons, table cloths, pouches, hangers, keychains and furniture, all made by the students from our vocational units of candle-making, tailoring and carpentry! Bulk orders for some of these items are possible too! Email us at [email protected]

Live outside India and want to help?
The Raksha Society is registered with Care and Share, Illinois, USA, a registered non-profit charitable organisation. Donations to us can be sent through Care and Share and are tax-deductible in the USA. The website is www.careandshare.com and our contact person is Mr. Tony Devassy.

You can also join the Raksha family by becoming a regular member for Rs. 125, or a Life Member for Rs. 1025.
