Day 4 – The Final Day of the International Calligraphy Festival Kerala 2025

The day began with honoring , followed by a wonderful calligraphy exploration workshop by Achyut Palav — more like a jugalbandi between different artists on canvas. One canvas was created by and , another by and , and one more by Kim Jinyoung from Korea. It was incredible to watch collaboration expressed through strokes and rhythm.
Also loved seeing these masters having fun among themselves and their calligraphy!

We also had a presentation on Pictorial Calligraphy by , which was truly inspiring to see how strokes blend into imagery.

Then came a typography basics workshop by Rajeesh, followed by Kim Jinyoung’s graceful Korean calligraphy workshop and demo.

I also had the opportunity to spend some time with , whose insights and humility I truly admire.

In the afternoon, and gave an insightful session on the process of transforming calligraphy into font design — and the challenges that come along the way.

The highlight of the day was definitely ‘s mesmerizing Malayalam calligraphy demo — expressive and powerful.

Before the closing ceremony, we had a super fun Calligraphy Quiz by D.Udayakumar — where every correct answer you gave earned you a chocolate and points for your team!

The festival wrapped up with a closing ceremony, group pictures, certificates, laughter, and heartfelt goodbyes — a perfect end to four incredible days of learning, inspiration, and ink.
