𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

This penthouse design embodies the essence of a traditional family deeply connected to the cultural roots of town and village life. Built on an existing blank slab atop a commercial structure, it sits on a 9’ x 10’ column grid, with 35’ x 90’ of space available on the second floor for the residence. The building’s south-facing facade opens onto the town’s main road, bordered by retail shops and a school on the lower floor. Across the road, a boys' hostel and family residences create a lively neighborhood atmosphere.

Our architectural challenge was to craft a south-facing facade that would honor the family’s desire for a traditional aesthetic while incorporating modern living amenities. The goal was to create a harmonious blend of functionality and cultural expression, capturing the spirit of village architecture within a contemporary, urban setting.
