Prerna and Patrick’s wedding was set as a Malabar garden, inspired by Hortus Malabaricus and thoughtfully curated by . With roots in Punjab and Kashmir, and the groom being American, they chose their favourite place 'Kerala' to get married, bringing together rituals from all their cultures.
The groom was welcomed with the rhythmic beats of Kerala’s panchaarimelam, a beautiful sight to witness. The bride entered looking radiant, as guests dressed in traditional Kerala sarees blended perfectly with the gold and white theme.
Right after the phera, a light drizzle fell, almost like a blessing. Soon after, the sky opened up to a soft golden sunset, adding warmth to the evening.
With the fragrance of jasmine in the air, a cool breeze from the backwaters, and lush greenery all around, the whole atmosphere felt calm, beautiful, and full of meaning.
