Asking questions is one the very important and natural characteristics of a child. Encouraging them to ask questions and giving them positive responses to their queries can nourish their cognitive development. Comparable to how toddlers aquire knowledge through sensory experiences, children around the age of 7 can think symbolically and even understand things from the perspectives of others.

A child's play time is neither trivial or meaningless. Their individual interests, ideas and abilities can be traced by how they play. Observe if your child sorts their toys according to colour or plans how they use building blocks, they might have a latent natural organisational abilities.
