Women’s silent revolution in Bihar through microfinance Jeevika ran several capacity-building programs for rural women, which helped them acquire various farm and non-farm-related skills that also increased their managerial abilities.

Our participants are indeed having a wonderful time as we head towards day 3 of our Emerging Global Change Makers Program’ 24 Bihar edition.

They helped the students of Sahja village see a bigger and clearer picture of the dynamics of various career options and the means to pursue them, guiding them as to how to go about it.

They then visited the Panchayat Samiti thereby getting enlightened about the Gram Panchayat and the Zilla Parishad through one-to-one interaction with the Panchayat officials.

Followed by a class on Madhubani painting, the participants surely brushed up their artistic skills. This for sure was much needed after a long productive day.
