Faculty members from Centre for Computers and Communication Technology visited Biraspati Parsai Senior Secondary School and Middle Camp Secondary School to deliver expert lectures on Artificial Intelligence and its practical applications. The Principals of both institutions warmly welcomed the faculty members and provided a conducive platform for the sessions.

Students of Classes IX, X, XI, and XII actively participated in the programme and gained valuable insights into the effective and responsible use of AI tools, particularly in the learning process. During the interaction, the faculty members also highlighted the various technical education initiatives undertaken by the Government of Sikkim and encouraged students to consider professional and technical courses for their future careers. Special emphasis was given to the responsible and ethical use of AI tools in academics and personal learning. The faculty members guided students on how AI can assist in improving creativity, problem-solving abilities, research, coding, language learning, and access to educational resources when used wisely and productively. At the same time, students were also made aware of the limitations and challenges of AI, including misinformation, overdependence on technology, privacy concerns, and the importance of maintaining originality and critical thinking skills.

The programme proved to be highly beneficial for both the schools and the visiting institution. Centre for Computers and Communication Technology expressed its appreciation for such collaborative initiatives and extended its continued support for organizing similar educational and awareness programmes in the future.

Topper’s Tour 2026: CCCT Students Participate in EBSB Cultural Exchange Program in Delhi

The Centre for Computer and Communication Technology (CCCT), Chisopani, proudly participated in the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) Cultural Exchange Program 2026, hosted by Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology from 11th April to 17th April 2026. The delegation comprised a select group of meritorious students from various departments and semesters, accompanied by Es**rt Faculty Mr. Rajesh Baraily.

Widely regarded as the “Topper’s Tour”, this prestigious annual initiative recognizes outstanding academic performers by providing them with an opportunity to engage in educational exposure and cultural exchange at the national level. The participation of CCCT students reflected the institute’s continued emphasis on academic excellence, leadership, and holistic development.

One of the major highlights of the program was the presentation of the rich and vibrant cultural heritage of Sikkim. The students proudly represented the traditions and identity of the state through traditional attire, cultural presentations, and interactive exchanges with students from different parts of the country. Their participation promoted mutual respect, unity, and appreciation for India’s cultural diversity.

The week-long program also included educational visits, guided tours, interactive sessions, and exposure to various landmarks and institutions across New Delhi. These activities provided students with valuable learning experiences beyond the classroom and helped enhance their confidence, communication abilities, teamwork, and cultural awareness.

The EBSB Cultural Exchange Program served as an enriching platform for students to connect with peers from different regions, exchange ideas, and build lifelong memories. The successful participation of CCCT students once again highlighted the institution’s commitment to nurturing talent and encouraging students to grow both academically and socially.

CCCT expresses its sincere gratitude to the organizers, faculty coordinators, and participating students for making the Topper’s Tour 2026 a meaningful, memorable, and inspiring experience.

Long after students leave the campus, some memories remain deeply etched into the place itself. For many at CCCT, Gyaltsen Lachungpa of the 2009 batch will always be one of them.

Gyaltsen was one of those rare people whose presence stayed with everyone who knew him. Whether in the classroom, on the football ground, among friends, or around the campus, he carried an energy that was genuine and unforgettable. He earned the affection of people simply through the kind of person he was.

Beyond his accomplishments, he will be remembered for the bond he shared with friends, juniors, and teachers,.something that remained special long after his student years.

His passing feels deeply personal to all of us who knew him and watched him grow here at CCCT. We have truly lost one of our own.

Heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. His memory will always remain a part of this institution.
