Mehandi is one of the most fun and relaxed events in your wedding week line-up. But that doesn't mean it doesn't involve planning. Since you can't do much on the day of even, it's important that you check things off before the event begins✔️

Vinayak (ganpati pooja) is one of the very first ritual that happens at the bride and the bride grooms house during a marwari wedding.

An idol of lord ganesh is first showered with water, then panchamrut ( a mix of 5 things, generally milk, curd, ghee, honey, sugar) then bathed with water and cleaned with a fresh new cloth and patted dry. Then some Akshata (uncooked rice) is placed on a silver plate or a metal plate that is available. Then the idol is wrapped up with vastra (clothes, generally a red n yellow thread) and then placed on a Akshata to complete the Pooja.
