This is how sweet jaggery or ' गुड़' is made from sugarcane. A large quantity of Sugarcanes are juiced with the grinder. The juice is then passed through four different containers which heats it extremely. After the desirable temperature has been attained, the juice is cooled down and made to freeze.
The remnants of sugarcane is used as a fuel for furnace. Tractor is used to run the grinder through belt.
