for 'plant for the planet' (http://www.plant-for-the-planet.org/)
makes use of elaborately cut tree leaves to highlight
environmental problems, encouraging viewers to pledge to
plant trees as a step forward.

3D alphabet by johnson banks shows the history of type

the project creates a 'alphabet of alphabets' in the form of both 3D renders and physical models, each showcasing not only a particular typeface whose name begins with that letter but also some aspect of the design's history.
