April 14, the birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar, is celebrated as Ambedkar Jayanti. He was a social reformer, lawyer and political activist, Ambedkar is remembered for his contributions in drafting the Indian Constitution and for standing up for the rights of Dalits and the downtrodden.

Babasaheb Ambedkar believed that “Cultivation of mind should be the ultimate aim of human existence”. And yes, the Constitution of India gave us the right path to achieve liberty, equality and fraternity, facilitating social and economic justice and equality of status and opportunity for all.
