The proximity to nature and the warm villagers gave us a firsthand look at the impressive initiatives of women's self-help groups in business and education. Witnessing farmers cultivating special potato varieties for chips was fascinating. The presence of rivers and the integral role of cattle within families added to the overall humbling experience."

Here is what the participants who went to Mawai , Raisen have to say : " The Rural Engagement Programme brought out the true meaning behind the word ‘social’. Having heard it being used vaguely before, this experience truly justified what social divide is, how efficient our government schemes are, and what we read may be far from the reality. Exploring every nook and corner curiously, we were truly grateful for having been to Raisen, having met such a diverse and loving set of individuals, from the Sarpanch to the local clerks. The village gleamed of joy and celebration, as it also acted as a break from our normal, fast-paced life at college."

Each conversation with the local officials and villagers was a window into their world, offering perspectives that are often overlooked in mainstream narratives. What struck us the most was the genuine warmth and hospitality of the people we met. This programme has left a lasting impression on us, and we believe that the lessons learnt are invaluable for all of us for our future endeavors."

IIM Indore is proud to announce that our brilliant student team comprising of Ishan Anshul (IPM'18), Manswinee R Thakur (PGP '21), Nishant Kumar Satyam (PGP'21), and Varun A (PGP '21), have emerged as the National Second Runner-Up in the first-ever Kotak Mahindra Bank's Explore Case Study Competition!

Their incredible performance in the competition, where they tackled a digital strategy and finance-related case, has been nothing short of exceptional. With over 1,440 registrations from top B-Schools in the country, this competition was a tough challenge for all the participants. However, our students have emerged victorious, proving once again that IIM Indore is a hub of exceptional talent.

We would like to congratulate the entire team for their outstanding achievement. Your unwavering determination, exceptional teamwork, and outstanding problem-solving skills have made us incredibly proud. We look forward to seeing all of you achieve even greater success in the future!
