Shihab ud-Din Muhammad Shah Jahan (AH 1037-1068, 1628-1658 AD), Gold Mohur, 10.92g, Burhanpur Mint. Legends in four chambers with profuse ornamentation, Ilahi type, Month Bahman. Extremely Fine with some mint lustre. (KM 255.2). This type is known to have been struck in only one date 1038 RY 2, after which date the square area Mohurs were started to be minted. Very Rare and a beautiful specimen.
