These are not just pictures.... Together, they are a story. A story about power, a story about pride, a story about gluttony, a story about the evil in all of us. Our very special creation "Khichik".
Coming Soon. Stay Tuned!!

Part 2

Team work was a lesson learnt on the way down. Where some were busy setting up the tents others went to find the best locations for the shoot. Everyone got to work instantly, it did not even feel like we had hiked down for an hour and a half.
These two beautiful actors of our were the ones who suffered the most, they had to look good, carry those bags, make food, which everyone ate but them, But I think it all paid off at the end.
Our Director who we call magician was on her feet being the anchor for all of us, reminding everyone that we were here for a purpose and not to get lost in the scenery. She made sure that everything gets done before the sun rises. Also, she hiked down and then up which would be a total of around 11 kms with an injured knee, a ligament injury and migraine.
We were fortunately or unfortunately blessed with rain, sun, heat, cold, all at once. It was one hell of an experience.

"One Day"
Just like every story ever, has started with these two words, so would this.
One Day, while we were looking for something to create, that would be short, creative as well as something that would help us practice and get ready for shorts and features, we bumped upon this.
The generation to this idea started when we were about to shoot a movie and were in a fix that we do not have a clear roadmap to that i.e.., the storyboard. The first conclusion was to hire a storyboard artist, but either we didn't work hard to find one or were not able to.
Although during the process of this project, one of us turned out to be a great storyboard artist but more on that later.
While we were researching on storyboards we saw a couple of them and something clicked.
It was as if the storyboard consists of everything but the dialogues. And what a movie is actually - "a series of pictures put rapidly on screen which basically becomes a motion picture".
(A storyboard has one image drawn which would give the creators an idea of a scene as to how it could be shot.)
So one day, with this in mind and traffic in front of us, watching a cop failing to control it despite his best efforts we came up with this story.
This story describes the day to day life of the person whose task is to control and manage the ever increasing number of people and vehicles on the road.
When we studied more about them, the life they live, the money they get paid, the hours they have to work, the struggle they face everyday, The whole experience was both humane and extremely humbling.
On the day of the shoot, we met a couple of cops as well, who became a guiding source for us as well as the actor.
When we told them what we were planning to make, we saw extreme happiness on their faces. One of them blessed us while narrating his struggles to raise his children and family.
With those blessing in our hearts, Today, we put out this project in front of you. This is a collection of 30 pictures clicked, divided into 3 parts where each tells a tale and put together completes a story.
With love,
