The last day holds dual importance – being the last day of Navratri and Lord Ram’s birth anniversary that is Ram Navami.

also marks the starting of Hindu New year which starts on Chaitra shukla pratipada. Moreover fiesta like Gudi padwa and Ugadi are also rejoiced on this day. This year Chaitra Navratri all will be rejoiced on 8 April 2016. Such a devout and festive day it is! People will go to the temples, greet each other and pray for a healthy, prosperous and wealthy life.

Not only festivals but Chaitra Navratri also marks the change in climatic condition. It is taken as an indication for Indian summer season.
