History was made in Ordos, China! 🇮🇳🥇 India’s Mixed 4x400m Relay team — Astik Pradhan, Sandramol Sabu, Setu Mishra, and Shravani Sachin Sangle — clinched the nation’s first-ever gold medal at the inaugural Asian U23 Athletics Championships 2026, edging out hosts China in a stunning photo finish. India clocked 3:18.64 seconds, just 0.10 seconds ahead of China’s 3:18.74, with the Philippines taking bronze at 3:25.28. It was anchor Shravani Sangle who stole the show, delivering a sensational final leg to overtake China’s Yingying Huang and seal the victory in front of the home crowd.
