As we all know, developing the COVID-19 vaccine in a short span of time was quite a challenge. However, the challenges didn’t end there. Storing the vaccine at a precise temperature between 2°C and 8°C, at all times, is vital to maintain its efficacy.
Godrej & Boyce supplied over 24,000 units of Vaccination Refrigerators and Freezers during the vaccination drive in India, to fulfill Central and State orders. We also leveraged our vast network of service personnel across each district to correctly install and commission them well in time for use for the vaccination drive. Our vaccine freezers were delivered and installed in countries like Nepal, Myanmar, Mali, Niger, Fiji, Albania, Ukraine, Yemen, Vietnam, Cuba, El Salvador, Jordon, Turkey to name a few. We also designed Ultra-Low Temperature Freezers for cooling below -80 C which helps preserve the vaccines up to six months.
