IIIT Manipur

The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Manipur, hosted a special Lecture Session by Ambassador Suchitra Durai, who spoke on "India’s Vision of the Indo-Pacific, Act East Policy & Maritime Policy - SAGAR and Mahasagar." The session was held on 6 March 2026 at 2:10 PM at the Swami Vivekananda Auditorium, IIIT Senapati, Mantripukhri, Imphal.

In her address, Ambassador Durai highlighted India’s strategic outlook in the Indo-Pacific region, emphasizing the importance of the Act East Policy and maritime cooperation under the SAGAR and MAHASAGAR frameworks.

The lecture was followed by an engaging Q& A session, where students and faculty members actively participated and interacted with the speaker. The Director of the Institute presenting a humble memento to Ambassador Durai as a token of appreciation for her insightful talk.
