On Transgender Day of Visibility, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and existence of transgender lives. 🏳️⚧️
But in India, as new law continues to threaten our fundamental right to self-identify, our visibility is no longer just celebration - it is resistance.
We refuse systems that try to control, regulate, and deny our identities. We refuse to be silenced, erased, or reduced.
Our existence is not up for approval.
Our dignity is non-negotiable.
Today, we stand together - to speak, to resist, and to fight for a future where trans lives are respected, protected, and free.

Kakching Khunou is located approximately 50-60 kilometers from Imphal, situated in a semi-rural and border area of Manipur. Due to its geographical location and the recent conflict situations affecting surrounding regions, students in this area have experienced various forms of stress, uncertainty, and disruption in their academic and personal lives. Recognizing the importance of extending mental health awareness to such corner and conflict-affected areas, a One-Day Mental Health Awareness cm Counselling Program was organized on 19-02-2026 at Kakching Khunou College, Kakching Khunou.
The program was jointly initiated by the National Mental Health Program, Tele-MANAS (Mental Health Assistance and Networking Across States) Manipur, the College Development Council, Manipur University, and Ya_All: The Youth Network.
The session successfully addressed the emotional needs of students living in a geographically distant and conflict-affected region.
Students actively participated, shared their thoughts, and engaged in discussions with openness and curiosity. The programme created a supportive learning environment where mental health was discussed without fear or stigma.
Overall, the initiative strengthened awareness, promoted emotional resilience, and reaffirmed the necessity of sustained mental health outreach in corner and conflict-impacted areas of Manipur.

The third session for Project Thrive was held with the theme " Taking charge of your health: ART for adolescents living with HIV" facilitated by Philip Laishram.
The session focused on Antiretroviral Therapy (ART), explaining that ART is a combination of medications that helps people living with HIV stay healthy. The facilitator discussed the benefits of ART and explained when and how the treatment works best. A visual video was also shown to illustrate how the HIV virus functions in the human body, comparing its effects before and after ART, which helped clarify the concept for participants.
The session included an interactive activity where participants were given pieces of paper to write down their questions or concerns. This activity encouraged open discussion, allowing the facilitator to address the participants’ needs and provide clearer understanding on the topic.

Our football team decided to conduct a training session instead of a friendly match. The session focused on providing basic football training for children under 14 years of age, with a total of 25 students attending. After this, the team moved to another location i.e Heingang, Imphal, Manipur, to continue conducting similar sessions. Through these activities, we aim to create awareness about our work, showcase how we conduct our sessions, and highlight our efforts to support and train young children by giving them a strong foundation in football.
