Today, on 21st March 2026, the HD Foundation in Manipur observed World Down Syndrome Day at the HDF Activities Centre located in Lamdeng Mayai Leikai, Imphal West. The occasion was marked by a vibrant dance competition, showcasing the talents, confidence, and joyful spirit of the persons with disabilities.The event was graced by distinguished presidium members, including Dr. Sapam Jasowanta Singh, Chairman of the HD Foundation; Shri Chingangbam Chaoba Singh, Patron Member of the Foundation; and Shri Shagolsem Ranjit Singh, Retired Supervisor, AG Manipur.

Dance Competition on World Down Syndrome Day 2026
This is to inform all HDF children and youngster persons with disabilities that a Dance Competition will be organized in observance of World Down Syndrome Day on 21st March 2026, with the aim of promoting awareness, inclusion, and celebrating the abilities of individuals with Down syndrome.
The theme for World Down Syndrome Day 2026 is Against Loneliness.
All interested HDF children and youngster persons with disabilities are requested to register their names with the organizing committee on or before the deadline.
