Korean Literature Festival Imphal 2026.
The first of its kind in the city.

In the early 2000s, when Hindi movies and songs were banned in Manipur, many of us turned to Korean television. Over time, Korean dramas, music, and fashion shaped popular culture in the region.

This festival begins from that history.

We are now taking the initiative to introduce Korean literature in Imphal by bringing Korean authors to the city, along with Manipuri writers and a focus on translation and cultural exchange.

Organised in collaboration with The Ink & Quill Collective () under Project Bhasha, and the Literature Translation Institute of Korea ( ), as part of India Literary Tour 2026 - Indo-Korean Edition.
