Prize distribution programme on Social Media Contest oragnised by All Tribal Disabled Union Manipur (ATDUM) was held on Wednesday at Manipur Press Club, Imphal.
The prize distribution event was attended by members of the ATDUM, participants of the contest, family and members of the disabled community and well wishers. Awards were presented to three winners in different categories of the contest conducted through social media platforms for members of the disabled community.
Chakpram Lokeshori Devi was honoured with the award for “Best Content” while Jandiya Soubam Devi was honoured with the award for “Most Shared Post” and Dominic Vanlalpekhlua of Mizoram received the award for “Most Reached Post”.
The Contest was held from May 16 to May 30, 2026 in prior to the 3rd World Assistive Technology (AT) Day 2026.

World Environment Day Observed at Eroisemba Thongak Lairembi Maisaikol

Imphal, Jun 3: Ahead of World Environment Day (UAL) and (UNAL) observed World Environment Day at Eroisemba Thongak Lairembi Maisaikol.
The function was chaired by Dr. Tourangbam Brajakumar, Director, Department of Climate Change and Environment, Government of Manipur. During the programme, participants highlighted the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable development.
As part of the observance, more than 25 saplings were planted to promote a greener and healthier environment.
Members of UAL, UNAL, and local residents actively participated in the plantation drive, reaffirming their commitment to protecting nature and creating environmental awareness in society.
