That small swelling you are ignoring could actually be a hernia.

Many people notice a swelling:
👉 In the groin
👉 Near the belly button
👉 At a previous surgery scar

Initially, it may:
✔ Come out while standing, coughing, or straining
✔ Disappear on lying down

But over time, the hernia can become larger and get stuck.

When the blood supply gets compressed, it becomes a dangerous condition called strangulated hernia.

⚠ Warning signs:
• Severe pain
• Redness over swelling
• Vomiting
• Feeling very sick

This is a surgical emergency.

❌ Hernias do NOT improve with medicines.

If you notice a swelling, get it evaluated early. Early treatment is simpler and safer.
