Lance Naik Manoj Phogat from Charkhi Dadri, Haryana, laid down his life in service to the nation in Punjab recently. Only bread winner of his family - he is survived by his mother, wife, and two small kids. May his sacrifice never be forgotten. 🇮🇳

Under the visionary ULLAS – Understanding of Lifelong Learning for All in Society and Nav Bharat Saaksharta Karyakram, Mizoram has achieved a historic milestone in India's literacy journey.

As per the 2011 Census, Mizoram had a literacy rate of 91.33%. Building on this, surveys identified 3,026 non-literate individuals, of which 1,692 were enrolled as learners.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of 292 volunteer teachers—including students, educators, and resource persons—Mizoram is now 100% literate.
