Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, popularly known as Babasaheb Ambedkar, was a renowned Indian jurist, politician, and social reformer.
Born on April 14, 1891, he was a key figure in the fight against caste discrimination and social inequality.
Dr. Ambedkar played a pivotal role in drafting India’s Constitution and served as the country’s first Law Minister. He championed the rights of the Dalit community, advocating for social justice, equality, and education.
Throughout his life, he faced numerous challenges due to his caste identity but persevered, earning recognition for his work, including the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honor, posthumously in 1990. His legacy continues to inspire millions, and his contributions to Indian society remain invaluable.
