BRIC-CDFD was proud to be a Co-organiser of the inaugural Fifth Wall Theatre Festival at T-Works, Hyderabad.

The festival brought together science, theatre, art, and storytelling, inspiring meaningful conversations and making science more accessible through creativity. It was wonderful to engage with the public through our interactive science stall and celebrate the power of collaboration.

BRIC-CDFD extends its heartfelt congratulations to Dr. K. Thangaraj, former Director of Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), on being conferred the prestigious Padma Shri.

This distinguished honour is a testament to his exemplary contributions to genetics, genomics, and scientific research in India. We wish him continued success in his future endeavours.

This International Yoga Day, BRIC-CDFD came together to celebrate the power of yoga in fostering physical well-being, mental clarity, and inner balance.

Guided by yoga mentors Mrs. Anuradha Bhansali and Jeesa Bhansali, participants embraced mindfulness, movement, and wellness, reaffirming the importance of healthy habits in our daily lives.

As a research institution committed to advancing science for societal benefit, we recognize that personal well-being is fundamental to innovation, productivity, and a healthier future.

Engaging discussions with Premas Life Sciences were held at BRIC-CDFD to explore opportunities for co-developing next-generation diagnostic kits, disease-specific panels, and multiomics solutions by combining CDFD's molecular biology expertise with Premas' advanced technology platforms. The discussions also focused on translating research into impactful products and to establish omics training, certification programs, and hands-on laboratory immersion modules for emerging life science professionals.
