Howrah City Police

An intensive raid and naka checking were conducted across various police stations areas of Howrah City Police to recover arms, ammunitions and to curb movement of illicit liquor, narcotics etc.

In connection with the ensuing Assembly Election 2026, training sessions are being conducted at the Police Station level under the jurisdiction of Howrah City Police to ensure proper preparedness and smooth conduct of election-related duties. The sessions aim to brief and train police personnel on election protocols, law and order management, and responsibilities during the electoral process.
