A heartfelt thank you to all the alumni of 1989 for orchestrating the unforgettable BEC 89' FRIENDS MEMORIAL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT 2024! Your dedication, support, and nostalgia-infused efforts made this event a resounding success. Special gratitude to our former football captain SWAPNIL ROY, current athletic captain ANIRBAN MAZUMDER, and football captain INDRAVO GHOSH for their contributions. A round of applause to the chief guest, GAUTAM SARKAR and RAHIM NABI, former Indian national team players, for gracing the occasion and inspiring our players.

We also enjoyed thrilling exhibition matches between the alumni of 1989 and current college professors, showcasing the timeless love for the game. Additionally, the women's match between Pandya Hall & Sister Nivedita vs Lt. Williams added another layer of excitement and inclusivity to the event. Congratulations to Richardson Hall for clinching the championship and Hostel 14 for being the worthy runners-up.
