Hoshi no Yo (星の界) | Taisho Otome Otogi Banashi | Japanese Folk Song 25/05/2022

'Hoshi No Yo' (星の界) is a children's folk song from Japan, written by Daisui Sugitani, on 1910. Like the English hymn 'What A Friend We Have in Jesus' (By Joseph Medlicott Scriven), 'Hoshi No Yo' is usually sung to the melody 'Erie', written by Charles Crozat Converse.
I've covered half of the song in this video, which was used in the anime 'Taisho Otome Otogi Banashi'; the female protagonist Yuzuki Tachibana was seen singing this song. Also we see, Tamahiko Shima's mother was seen singing this song in a flashback (Tamahiko Shima is the male protagonist of this anime).
