Indian skipper Ajinkya Rahane scored his 12th 100 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground ( ) which later on helped India lead to their greatest ever Test series victory.

This 100 was similar to his 100 at Lord's in 2014, a skipper who never lost a Test match and a great architect of Test Wins.
