✨ Heritage Walk at Moti Mahal & Baijatal, Gwalior ✨

The INTACH Gwalior Chapter recently conducted an enriching heritage walk for the students of Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya (SKV) at the historic sites of Moti Mahal and Baijatal.
Although the walk was originally planned for World Heritage Day, it had to be preponed due to prior commitments. Despite this, the experience turned out to be immensely engaging and insightful for all participants.
More than 150 students, accompanied by 15 teachers, enthusiastically took part in the walk. Led by Dr. Kamakshi, the session offered a deep and meaningful connection to the historical and cultural significance of these iconic sites.

Moti Mahal, once a prominent residence of the Scindia rulers of Gwalior, stands as a remarkable example of regal architecture and artistic elegance. Its intricate paintings, beautifully designed interiors, and historical richness provided students with a vivid glimpse into the grandeur of the past.

The walk was graced by the presence of Chapter Convener Vikas Singh, Co-convener Shri Chandradeep Singh, Governing Council members Shri Neelkamal Maheshwari and Shri Rajeev Tomar, along with other dedicated chapter members.

This initiative successfully ignited curiosity and awareness among young minds about the importance of preserving our rich heritage.

The program was organized in association with Heritage Foundation, and we look forward to many more such meaningful collaborations in the future.
