The Supreme Court declined to entertain a plea seeking cancellation of 70th BPSC exam recently conducted on 13th December 2024.

The Supreme Court also refused to take action against officials who used excessive force to disperse protesting BPSC candidates and directed the petitioners to approach the Patna High Court first under Article 226 of the Constitution.

Reason for Clash : The BPSC Chairman has cancelled the exam of only one centre where irregularities occurred but candidates are demanding cancellation of the entire 70th Bihar Public Service Commision (BPSC) exam for which the BPSC chairman is not convinced.
