Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and passionate 3D Rigging and Animator to join our game development team. You will be responsible for rigging and animating 3D characters, creatures, and props for a variety of game genres. You should have strong technical skills and a keen eye for movement, timing, and storytelling through animation.

Key Responsibilities:*

* Create and implement high-quality rigs for characters, creatures, and props.
* Design efficient and game-ready rigs that meet animation and technical requirements.
* Animate characters and objects for in-game actions, cinematics, and cutscenes.
* Collaborate closely with the 3D modelers, concept artists, game designers, and developers.
* Ensure animations are optimized and compatible with game engines (e.g., Unity or Unreal Engine).
* Troubleshoot rigging issues and provide technical support to the animation team.
* Work with motion capture data when required and refine it for in-game use.
* Maintain consistency in animation quality and style across different assets.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Animation, Game Design, or related field.
* 1+ years of professional experience in rigging and character animation (preferably in games).
* Proficiency in Maya, Blender, or similar 3D animation software.
* Strong understanding of anatomy, body mechanics, and facial expressions.
* Experience with skinning, weight painting, and IK/FK systems.
* Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine pipeline.
* Strong portfolio demonstrating rigging and animation work.
* Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
* Excellent time management and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

* Experience with physics-based animation and procedural rigging.
* Experience with motion capture pipelines.
* Passion for gaming and storytelling.
